| General Overview | Justin has a very serious, cautious and by-the-book demeanour, answering to his superiors for reports and missions, following every law and every rule. His strict moral code,mostly compels him to follow the law to the letter. Although, if he feels the law is being misapplied or applied incorrectly, he will break it . He has a habit of being blunt and is extremely distrustful of newcomers. Despite this, he is loyal to his friends and colleagues and is fiercely protective of them, going along with his missions to keep the crew safe even when he disapproves. Justin takes his duty extremely seriously and often steps in front of others to keep them safe, instinctively putting others ahead of himself and taking responsibility for and of others, regardless of whether he finds them agreeable or not. Justin is gay but was in denial and reluctant to admit this to himself for years due to the pressure on him. Furthermore, his deltan empathic abilities gave him another reason to stay in the closet, as romantic relationships felt overwhelming. This makes him a deeply conflicted individual, although recently he has since grown more comfortable with himself and the idea of relationships. While Justin can be harsh, he's also a deeply caring and affectionate person who won't hesitate to reach out to his family and friends and be at their side when they need him. He's observant, and will often notice when someone he cares about is going through something, usually expressing concern when he does. Justintends to take responsibility for things and blame himself, especially in regards to people he loves being hurt or upset, even if he had little to do with the situation in the first place because of his deltan empathy. When something is wrong, there's little he won't do to put things right. |

| Personal History | Justin Knows next to nothing about his birth, only that he was found in a drawer at a holiday home on Pacifica, having been trafficked there by his Deltan mother. He was found at age 2 by the Flynns, who were on their honeymoon at the time, and took Justin in as their own. His upbringing was otherwise quite unremarkable, although tinged with sadness byt eh fact that the Flynns were unable to have any other children and so treasured Justin dearly, although something always made him feel seperate to them. Generally through his childhood, Justin was Academically slightly above average but was otherwise a standard student. The only thing of note in his formative years was the emergence of his Deltan Empathic abilities at the onset of puberty, which facilitated the need for his parents to explain his true nature to him, which made him feel betrayed and lied to, and nearly destroyed the Flynn family. At about this time, Justin also came to the realisation he was gay, and embarked on a short lived romance with a school friend, although this ended due to the intense nature of the bond created by the deltan empathy. At age 18, Justin left home on pacifica to go to Starfleet Academy, and at this time his family embarked on a new beginning on the USS Roma, a Galaxy Class Starship. He then had an unremarkable 4 years at the academy, where he studied diligently and came 4th in his class. He then applied to every battlefield/trauma posting he could find. |
