| Personal History | Enlisted in star fleet at age 15 (2385) and two years later reported aboard the USS M'iridian, as a Propulsion Specialist, ranked as Crewman having graduated 1st in his class. Within three years he had made Petty Officer (3rd class) and cross trained into Computer Systems, transferring to OFHQ in 2394 to take a promotion to PO (2nd), where he was placed into an engineering ‘jump team’ which was routinely assigned to travel to damaged starships, supplementing the vessels crew in affording repairs while said starship limped into port. 2395, wanting to distinguish himself and taking a friends advice, he volunteered for service aboard the USS Valiant, hoping a smaller ship would give him more opportunities to learn other systems, and because she is being staged out of SB80, where his fiancé is posted. Tonag, firstborn of his passel, was always fascinated at how things worked. Growing up, he vexed even his engineer parents by taking things apart and putting things back together. If he had a fault, it was that he was over-meticulous and the joy he took in re-assembling things meant he moved slowly. As he’s matured, he’s come to understand the need for urgency, but will still take his time if left to his own devices. Tonag is currently engaged to be married, to Willu Gersh, a fellow Tellarite and Fleet transporter specialist recently posted to SB80. |
