On a smaller system, say the size of Valiant because the glitter can mingle with more of it's kind it may pop up for years after The Goo is a mild hallucinogenic compound that likes partying. It'll wear off after a few hours left to go by itself or with the help of a friendly pharma treatment. It's sticky though, it's glue-like holding power lasting for a few hours while it serves as grafitti for the Ashen Hand. Once on a surface, it'll take some work to get it gone, until someone figures out a better way
