He had sensed her coming on the station. They were a part for a short while as he had gotten his orders to come here. She would get their children to the starbase to stay with EJ. Natan wanted welcome her to the station. He went to their quarters and rang the chime. Of course he didn't have to, but he wanted surprise her with roses and chocolate he got for her. As the door swished open he held the flowers up towards to her.

Bella had arrived not short of a miracle, command had really doen a number on her this time. With a transfer from a galaxy class, her brother craigs none the less.As an intelligence officer bella knew all about secrets, but the valiant was one ship she dident knwo she was going to assigned to till last minute, She was sat at her desk looking over some reports from the jack daw, her hair down and she was in civvys, most of all next to her pad lat a bottle of wine, a glass and she was sipping from it. A past time she has picked up from her brother EJ, a prolific alcohol abuser at times. But none the less her door chime went, striding to meet the chime she looked, in her door way and none the less her husband natan was standing there with flowers, she cracked a wide smile as he looked at him "Romace never died did it dear"She warmly embraced hm and kissed his lips "EJ Has his hands full Craig and laylas children, our children and his own now has a command what ever in the world has EJ doen to deserve this" she said rushing her hands through his hair.

Natan laughed. "I don't know, Bella, but he will adapt, he always does." He gazed lovingly in her eyes as they walked in to their assigned quarters. "Do you want me to put these in a vase for you, imzadi?" He asked as he walked to the kitchen to look for one. He asked as a curtsy. He was going to do it anyways. He loved her to bits,so he would do almost anything she would want. He put the flowers in the vase and placed them on the table as he settled them in the water. "I was able to have Craig pull a few strings for us, so the two of will be serving together. But I'll be the captain this time." He grinned.

Bella looked on as he wlaked in "EJ Adapt? Is that before or after hes put the children in the airlock for knocking over his whiskey" She smiled as he walked into the kitchen "They should be in the bottom cupboard dear" she spoke as she grabbed her wine walking up behind him and placing her hands round his middle cuddling him "Captain Natan O'Donnaghue has a rather a regal tone it" she said kissing him on the back of the head.

Natan laughed. "I wouldn't worry about EJ airlocking them. I would be worried about him teaching them how to drink." He looked to the table and the flowers on them. "So I have seen the ship today. It's not a big one, but she is a firm one. Defiant class." He turned around and put his arms around her. "Imzadi, I guess we will be working really, really close together."

Unclasping her arms from around his middle "Ahh shes a defiant class, small but mighty" she said as she walked over
to the replicator and made two teas "Wells that's the way i like it Natan gives us a chance to get things straight with the crew before hand" she said kissing his cheek "I'm sure we will do just fine we aren't in a war time like we were many years ago" she clasped her hands around his and pulled him in closer to her.

Natan smiled. "No, we're not. I like this. Just you and me, no kids. Just the crew." He bend over a little and kissed her neck. "I will leave the decorating of our quarters to you. You did a good job last time. Unless you need my opinion on something."

Bella smiled as she was kissed "Only on the bed spread dear" she said turning to face him "If i have my way itll all be pinks and reds" She said kissing him again "You can decorate the lounge i know how you like to sit in there after a shift" she said draping her hands over his kneck.

"I am not much for decorating, you know that," He said. "I want my books and A couch where I can sit on and cuddle with you on." And then he added, "After my shift." He kissed her hair. Also I think the space wouldn't be as big as the one on the Jackdaw." He ran his hand through her hair.

She looked to him "Ahh the jackdaw my dearest brothers ship" She said slinking into his arms "Then that is what you will have dear husband" she said kissing his cheek "i'll ask EJ to help with give him a break from all the kids"

"Ehm, dear," Natan continued, "EJ is going to the Gamma quadrant. We're going to the Beta quadrant. We're kind of not close." He leaned forward and nuzzled her. "Makes things a bit hard, don't you agree?"

Her arms around Natans neck "Well yes but im sure we will get some shore leave and we can ask to be let off at new haven or avalon station that way we can see paddy, eoin, rian and James too" she said kissing him "Plus im sure layla, chelsea and Talim would be dying to see there dearest brother Im also sure Rian asked after you so you have to go and see your nephew... You know your his favorite uncle right?" She said teasing him a little as she moved off.

Natan grinned, "His favorite uncle, I did not know that. I thought Craig was his favorite uncle." His look followed Bella closely. He gently rubbed her neck. "So did you put Chelsea in bed?" He subtly reminded they had another child. He had the ship design made in a way, that the cabin next to their room would be converted and could be accessed from their quarters, making their quarters bigger.

Bella laughed "Of all Ejs kids you forget that rian is more like his mother than his own father" she said kissing him on the cheek "Yes i even read her a story, shes sound asleep" she said relaxing up against the side. This assignment had been one of those she hadent thought about, a smaller ship but none the less an important one. They would be setting off soon enough.

"Oh good," He said as he softly patted her hair.

Bella looked to natan and smiled "I think it's time we retire it's been a long day and I just want to lay in bed and read my book whilst I stroke your hair " she said walking over and kissing him lightly on the cheek.

"I couldn't agree more," Natan replied as he leaned over and picked her up from her feet and put her gently on the bed. He lay down as he panted a little. "I must be getting old." He lay on his back and exclaimed, "Oh any bed is great with you in it." He then pushed himself up to kiss her. "I love you, O'Donnaghue." He smiled.
