Mission: Diplomacy by any means necessary.
Location: Security Compartment, USS Valiant
Timeline: MD005 09:00

There it was again, that feeling gripping her throat, squeezing down. It was difficult to breathe in the small cell no larger than a supplies closet. Day looked the walls and the forcefield in front of her. She couldn't see any airducts. How was she supposed to breathe if they weren't letting any air in? She was pacing the room, which just meant one step in the direction of the forcefield, then turn and one and a half step back, before another turn. There was sweat accumulating on her back, it was cold and clammy, and there was nothing she could do about it.

Mishka watched Day pace out of the corner of her eye as she sat at the security duty desk. Right now they were apparently letting the murder suspect stew before the Security chief or his assistant chose to interview her. To distract herself, the Bear was watching the security footage from the cargo bay area for 12 hours before the murder. She could sympathize with Day though.

Valiant was small as ships went and she too felt hemmed in.

Having been held up by a few problems along the way to the small brig, Lisa was not in a very good mood and having to investigate one of their own was not on the top of her agenda. She thought to herself what in the blazes has Day gotten herself involved in? as she needed to get to the bottom of this rather quickly and send the reports to the Captain.

Mishka glanced at Valiant's chief as she seemed to pause and then asked her, "Pardon, Lieutenant? Would you like me to remove the prison for questioning or are you going to do it through the force screen?"

"There's really no point, I don't remember anything after entering the shuttle bay, and before waking up in the shuttle-pod with the ambassador dead in the front seat." Day spoke plainly and clearly, devoid of any emotion.

"Lieutenant," replied Lisa looking back at the officer in the brig, "can you remember what and where you were before you woke up in the shuttle?" as she crossed her arms across her chest, so she could work out a timeframe and go through the camera footage to check the placement of the officer.

Mishka shut her mouth after being ignored by Valiant's chief tactical officer. Deciding this was supposed to be a learning exercise, the Bear watched Creed try to coax information from the argument without much luck.
